CONGRESS CENTRUM ALPBACH [CCA]
Alpbach 246 | 6236 Alpbach
Alpbach is also famous for the international congress "European Forum Alpbach" which has been taking place here every summer since 1945 and which is an important platform for economists, scientists, politicians and artists. The new Congress Centrum Alpbach and its genious architecture have put Alpbach well in tune with the new millenium.
The Congress Centrums Alpbach’ impressive architecture harmonises with the Tyrolean mountain villages traditional building style. So as to blend in with the homogenous architectural style the building was built into the slope. This way the use of energy was optimised.
The Congress Centrum Alpbach has a plenary hall for 550 people, five seminar rooms for 20 to 200 people, two foyers for exhibitions and as catering areas and a south facing terrace making up a total of 1.585 square metres meeting space. If needed the adjacent underground garage can be put to a multifunctional use and serve as an exhibition hall. Architectural highlights of the bright and inviting building are without doubt the glass spiral, which gives daylight to both levels; a large bank of windows at the ceiling of the plenary hall with views of a mountain range and the light flooded Otto Molden foyer.
The simplicity and elegance of the top-quality meeting rooms and foyers are ideal settings for successful meetings. The Congress Centrum Alpbach is the perfect place to hold evening events and receptions.
